Innovations for Caesars Windsor's Security Operations Center
About Caesars Windsor
Caesars Windsor provides around the clock entertainment to both Canadian and American patrons and is one of the largest casinos in Canada. The Security Operations Center (SOC) provides security and centralized monitoring for the facility.
The Challenge
  • To ensure staff can maintain efficient and comfortable workstations during non-stop monitoring, enhancements to ergonomics and adjustability were necessary for the monitoring consoles.
  • With each operator console outfitted with large displays, it was challenging to provide adequate adjustability as well as manage the many cables that are required.
  • Each time a new operator starts their shift, the workstation needs to be adjusted for their unique preferences and requirements. Monitors need to be easily repositioned for each staff member.
The Solutions
  • Consulting the end user was a key way for RedRick to provide a solution that works.
  • Because each operator is unique, RedRick delivered ComfortViewTM Monitor Mounting Systems which allow for intuitive adjustment of the entire display set. This includes motorized height adjustment and effortless focal distance adjustability.
  • Catering to the particular needs of each operator, the ComfortViewTM mounts allow for easy adjustments to accommodate their position preferences.
  • With a reputation for excellence, RedRick ensured that the workstations were not only ergonomically ideal but also sturdy and visually appealing with thorough and discrete cable management.
  • To ensure a successful launch of this design, RedRick provided SOC operators with a detailed customer service follow up.
“We are extremely happy with our RedRick consoles. Communication from design through to implementation was excellent. They went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met, and delivered an outstanding product.”
